I think american psychiatrists are more clever that french psychiatrists

I think that yours psychiatrists in America are more clever than french psychiatrists !!!

I read that in America you take less drugs than in France my country. I France drugs are 100 % free for all users and i think that it’s stupid because doctors and psychiatrists are less concerned by the spend for drugs !

When i tell you that drugs are free in not the case because we pay ours médical insurance in France. But the drugs and surgery, etc are free even for people that don’t pay for it, they are also cover.

The drugs are not expensive also in France for exemple it’s only 18,5 euros for one month of abilify pills 5, 10, 15 , 20 or 30 mg, it’s the same Price.

The french economy fails now. Prime minister want that all users pay 2 euros for box of pills. And prime minister want that use of drugs decreases of 30% before 2028. And all these moleculars of drugs pollute the water.

Dunno about that. The image we get, are that people in America will say “Hi, Im diagnosed with ABCDEFG” and “I take XYZ meds”. Meaning, the more diagnoses you hold, the more meds you require. Meaning you need to spend more. Thats the work of Doctors and their diagnostic manual - that was put together primarily by pharmacy giants.

In France, Europe, most of the world…. there is no “hard and fast” drive to diagnose and rip you off with branded medicines. My monthly prescription is just under £10. You are more likely to get social-help and therapies that’ll attempt to get you functioning and back into the world. And if not, the welfare system will aid you to varying degrees. Our side of the world boasts pioneers of psychiatry and psychology, from its dark days to the present. Please remember people like Philippe Pinel and the legacy left.

I think Pharmacare is important and you’re very lucky your country has that @frenchman. People suffer in my country because many who do not work lack access to good medications that government programs refuse to purchase for them. Vraylar only recently became available in my province in Canada, for example.

Your English is quite good, by the way. Better than my French.

Lol thanks you @shutterbug for theses words.

The french is very hard to learn. For exemple when you talk with a people that you don’t know you must to tell (vous) and for well know peoples like Friends or members of you family you tell (tu) . examples = ( vous) voulez du lait ? or (tu) veux du lait ? = do you want some milk !

In french language items has sex in the language. (Une) for female and (un) for mâle. Exemples = une voiture = a car. Un tracteur = un tractor.

        Un

I attended a bilingual school system in my youth and I have tried to keep my language skills current by watching French media and reading books in French as well. I understand the difference between familar pronouns (tu) and formal (vous).

american healthcare is way too profitable and exploited rather than being purposefully to keep its citizens alive and healthy, there are people who die due to not being able to afford medication essential to staying alive
