I stopped lithium

I’ve stopped lithium as I’m moving over to another one called lamotrogine or something.

While I’ve been tapering down to virtually nothing I’ve felt so good and alive wondering if I should even take this new one.

I feel good so good I want to just do stuff

YES,

Take the new medication!

I’m happy you feel good right now,

But we all know the " I should just go without medicine" trap.

Get on the new med and keep the positive attitude.

I used to be on lithium but never noticed an effect from it. My psychiatrist said that the medication i’m on (abilify) is an antipsychotic and a moode stabilizer and I notice a difference with that.
