I didn’t hear the sirens. It was a little north of here but enough scary. Crazy ass Texas weather.
oh my , sorry you had a warning…we usually hear our sirens.
Hi sweetie.
We were under a tornado warning here too but it ended at 9pm.
All quiet on the Western front now.
Most of the people who live where I live ignore tornado warnings. When they give a tornado warning that is a sign you should take shelter, so that’s what I do. I think my room is about the safest place available for me to duck into during a tornado. It’s centrally located and small. I’ve been through a lot of tornado warnings, but never a tornado. There was a tornado in Little Rock, Ark. a couple of years ago that killed 25 people. It seems like tornados are killing more people these days. If I ever lived in a prefab. house I would want a tornado shelter out back. One tornado some years ago killed 170 people. My sister said it was because a lot of people were living trailers. Still, that’s an awful lot of people dying in a tornado. I recall a long time ago a tornado killed 18 people, and the press treated it like it was alarming. The increased deaths from tornados could be the result of global warming. They said that would be one effect from global warming - deadlier storms.
I think Im in a tornadoe warning right now idk but dont really care we get them every year and nothing ever happens to my house @Montezuma would know
Are you in little rock? I’m pretty close.
Hmmm according to Google weather we’re not under a warning, but that could be wrong or not the most up to date.
No, I am in a town of 300 lost souls about six miles from the Arkansas border. I doubt if you’re familiar with it. The town is named “Watts”.
Tornados in central US are gigantic these days. They destroy entire cities.
You say tornado and I say tornahdo…tornado! tornahdo!..
(Ahem. I’ll see myself out.)
