As I was saying....every week or two - Severe weather and tornado warning again until about 7:15 pm

It’s 6:39 pm now. GOing to have to go in the basement again soon. Its like constant with these warnings.

Starting to wonder if these guys on the news arent just drama queens/kings.

If they keep crying wolf every week people are going to start saying “Eh, just another tornado warning :person_shrugging:, go about your business”.

It’s almost not even worth me posting about it anymore. It’s just the norm.

I remember reading Aesop’s Fables!

Anyhoo, we get a lot of thunderstorms here, but not tornado warnings. Maybe once or twice a year. Then we all pile into our pantry (it’s huge). I spend the time watching the clock and worrying about the dogs (they don’t fit in the pantry with four people camped out). When I lived in West Virginia, we once had a tornado hit one street over and flatten at least every other building. Since then, I always take the warnings seriously. Driving down that road after the storm, seeing the destruction and how close it was- man, that was something.

I’m starting to think you live in Kansas.

I know most people don’t want to reveal where they live so I won’t ask, but I really hope it’s not in tornado country. I’m in Virginia, I grew up with drills but there’s never been one here my whole life. We had a small earthquake that damaged the Washington Monument many years ago, that was about it.

I live in Texas and have seen tornados. No bad ones yet.

yes. There is still a thunderstorm, but the most severe stuff is past, so all good.

Thanks for asking.
