I am saying it from my perspective.
People are different, but if I were able to, I would move to the United States.
I like the United States more than any other country in the world.

I’d rather live in any country west of the Czech Republic over the US. And in the US over any country east of the Czech Republic.

I like Eastern Europe. At least the countries I’ve visited. But I don’t think it would be easy for me to live there.

Mainly my sexuality. It’s not nice to feel you have to pretend to be someone else so that people will accept you. That’s why I moved to the city. I still feel uncomfortable when I go to visit my family. And people stare at me there when it becomes obvious that I’m with my boyfriend and not just a friend. It doesn’t feel safe.

I see. we are a little conservative here. there are occasions where two boys holding hands were beaten in the street. it’s not the norm but the exception. we are a European country that is supportive of gays’ rights.
