Pills also stay in your system for some time…
I know but it’s easier to come off them
I’m practically forced to take these damn shots
People are worried that I won’t be med compliant

Is there a reason why they chose the shot option over meds ?
pills can cause a lot of dips in how much medication is in your system. I prefer the shot as I get a nice, smooth anount all month. Plus I only need to remember to puck up the shot and get it injected once a month compared to 30 or 31 pills.

Med compliance because I’ve quit my meds in the past

I feel its tricky , as you already have it in your mind to quit when you feel completely OK… thats quite dangerous thought …
Why is it dangerous exactly
Because someone that’s been psychotic can relapse off meds. Each episode of psychosis causes brain damage.
Many times wheh one feels completely ok , but oftentimes that can lead someone to feel they don’t need the meds so go off them… only to relapse … its dangerous… its never a good idea to go off meds without approval from a pdoc …

It was serious enough to cause you to be hospitalized twice in a short time.

I Prefer Pills Over Shots. Fought Hard, A Few Years Back Over Pills.
I Would Take a Two Weeks Worth of Pills And Feel Like I Was Cured. Then, Quit Taking Them.
Didn’t Like The Idea of Medication Anyways, Because I Wasn’t Born With Pills Lodged in My Body. So. What The Hell. So. There’s Always That.
But Once You Get On a Routine, Every Morning or Night, as Soon as You Wake, Go Get The Pills. And Every Night, or During The Opposite End of Your Sleeping Schedule. Take The Night Meds.
It Takes a Small Amount of Time to Get Used to it. But Once You Do…, No More Shots.
And Then You Can Call Yrself Med Compliant.
Your Team Will Be Pleased. And a New Door of Recovery Shall Open!.
So. If You Really End Up Deciding On Pills. Jus Stay Focused, And it Will End Up as Being as Easy as Tying Your Shoes.

they wont let me take pills though they insist i should stay on the shot just to be sure
I Was There Also.
It Took Me, Over a Course of Almost an Entire Year of Arguing With Everyone About it.
I Kept Complaining And After I Wrote Three Letters to Barack Obama, My Doctor One Day Said I Had a Choice, Pills or Shots.
I Chose Pills.
All I Can Say is, Give Your Team Your Word, That You Will Take The Pills. And When You Get The Chance to Prove Yourself, Don’t Fail.
