I really need to chill out on the alcohol

Since I’m not yet ready to completely give up alcohol again, I’ve decided I will drink only after getting home from work. So for this week, that will be Monday and Wednesday evenings, as well as Saturday and Sunday mornings (I work 10pm-8am Fri and Sat nights).

I never drink a lot, certainly never get drunk; I’m not sure I’m even capable of getting drunk anymore, my tolerance is so high.

Starting next week I will be off from teaching for three weeks, so then it will be just those two mornings.

It’s a start.

Sounds like a decent plan. I like to relax and beer is a nice thing but having time off is good. I’m trying to get uber fit so time off means better results and instead of drinking everyday I’ll do more exercise at night! I also have some house rules. I go to sleep early but I don’t drink till after 2pm. I have limits on what I will drink. It’s easy to fall off the wagon but keep trying.

I think slowing down gradually is the way to go!

Think of what great things you could buy for that alcohol money .

A holiday, a amazing dinner,massage ,weekend getaway, a membership…,great groceries…
