Today marks 7 weeks without cigarettes or nicotine. I thought I would wait for a full week without urges before I posted saying I’ve quit smoking. But yes I’ve quit. Wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be, kind of moderate actually, but then again I’ve been through experiences I would rate 5 to 10 times harder. I’m starting to see the benefits: Food definitely tastes better and my breathing has improved. No more night coughing or feeling short of breath and my skin tone is much healthier looking. I’ll never go back to smoking tobacco, it’s not worth a few minutes of enjoyment a day for all that baggage.
Soon, if not already the smell of a lit cigarette will appal you. I can smell one from 30 metres and I detest it.
Never go back!
This is my 15th year since I quit.
woo! conrats im a recent quitter too and its a lot easier than i expected. Ive had a few tempations but its stuck quite well
what allowed me to stay with it is not keeping a lighter with me. I broke my lighter and just never bought another one and thus havent smoked lol
Congratulations. Kudos to you. I quit 3 years ago. Still going strong.
Way to go @mmasters!!! That’s awesome!!!
Congrats! I am still smoking and hope to quit
Thanks guys. I thought I would put this out there but I believe this product really helped me quit cold turkey and manage the urges. It’s a liquid multi-vitamin. Costs about $40 for a month or two supply depending on how much you take.

Well done! Last cigarette I had was June 28th, I am still getting nicotine though ( I use an e-cig) but it’s much better then when I was smoking 30+ cigs a day. I’m 28 and had been smoking since I was 19, so it was well and truly time to give up,
Once again, congratulations!
Congratulations @mmasters! Quitting is no easy task but you did it!
All this thread about quitting makes me wanna smoke more… Congrats BTW
Good for you! I keep quitting and then relapsing. Best of luck
Good job!
I should quit too, but I don’t think my brain could handle the stress right now
Well done @mmasters !
I try to quit too. I want a better health and keep all the money for something else, like a new computer.
I have done lots of moves lately and this would be a cherry on the top.
Good job, congratulations!
My dad quitted smoking after 3 months in the U.S. He could not be used to cigarette here after finishing all cigarette he took from China. He said it is the best benefit of coming to the U.S.
