Today is the two year anniversary of my quitting smoking

I still struggle with copd but I am no longer addicted which helps my anxiety immensely.

Never go back! Stinky and life dragging addiction that it is. Oh how it stinks! And you only know that being an ex smoker.

I never noticed how smokers stink until I quit. My nose had become numb.

Good going chordy ! It’s always good to hear a success story about giving up cigarettes.

I can smell a lit cigarette from 30 metres, now.

Good for you @PinCushion.
I quit cold turkey years ago.

I quit cold turkey too and i reckon that if you felt that urge to smoke in the same way that i did. That pull, and successfully pulled through it then you never want to feel that hook again. I’ll never smoke tobacco again. I beat that addiction and never want that pull again. That yearning for something so unworthy.

I have 15 days without a smoke. I think I’ll get some tomorrow

Why would you do that? 15 days is a very good start.

Thank you. After today I will try for a month.

Since I stopped smoking, I chew on a lot of straws.
