What to say? What to do? A feeling rose from the deepest, most hidden seif. Deep inside the underground of a human.
Do you pick it up?
Curiosity won’t stop you. They won’t stop you, nobody will. You wish they would but for now it’s yours, a new toy to play with. A new friend.
Midday desert fires don’t feel as hot and the eyes in the sky don’t feel threatening.
The nights pass and heat needs more heat to burn but there’s nothing and no-one around. You pushed them away, you forgot about them!
You thought you could have it all!
Now it’s just you and your new friend.
But, she looks at you with empty eyes, you feel like glass.
Why didn’t you listen?
Why did you pick it up?
