I played Christmas music on Christmas day

for my best friend on the piano and she loved it. I played five popular songs: “Oh Holy Night”, “Silent Night”, “Oh Little Town Of Bethlehem”, “The First Noel”, and “I’ll Be Home For Christmas”. I had been practicing them all month long and I felt ready to perform them for her. She said I did very well and that they were “beautiful”. I am so glad and proud of myself. I also played another song for her called: “Morning Papers”, by Johann Strauss. She liked that one too.

Awe so cool! Glad she liked them and well done you! I’d love to have a musical bone but sadly it’s escaped me although I listen and love music!

Congrats!

Thank you, @rogueone. So nice of you. You know, it’s never too late to start. I didn’t start learning to play piano until I was 46 years old. And I do believe you are about that age. Am I not right? I’ve been playing now for the last thirteen years and I am just now beginning to feel like I can play. If I can do it, anyone can.
