What kind of shows do you like?
@far_cry0 yes I have but I do not have cable so I can’t watch.
@Futomimi well I like action but I’m trying to stay away from that right now because that’s already filled. So other then that I like anime. Something that can arouse emotions in me basically. Comedy is always hit and miss with me so I tend to keep that to real life. So anything that can arouse an emotion in me would be great.
Hey, I loved a show called “You’re the worst” and it will have their last season this year.
I don’t know what is gender neutral, but the show is about a love couple and each episode is 20 minutes.
It was very fun to watch, they have good characters
I’m assuming all the standards like Cowboy Beebop, Trigun etc have been covered? I don’t know if I’d call those gender neutral though. I would not call them gender insensitive. They both have well developed female characters. Have you ever tried Baccano! Again not sure how gender neutral that is. I wouldn’t call it gender insensitive but it does lean heavy on male leads.
Another two male lead heavy feely kind of shows but which would fill your need for feelings are Haikyu! and Yuri on Ice. Haikyu is about a high school volley ball team and it is really good. Yuri on Ice is about figure skating. Just to tell you how good I think they are. I don’t like volleyball and I detest figure skating and I love both of those shows so much. Yuri on Ice has some hints of homosexuality if that is a problem for you.
I hope that helps a little.
Yeah I’ve covered all the standard anime. Baccano! sounds good though. I’ll put it on my to watch list. The other two you mentioned don’t interest me but it’s not because of the queer undertones. I just (usually) don’t like anime that are based around real life sports. They seem to be too over the top and too melodramatic. But it’s definitely not because of the queer undertones. LGBT+ have been here forever in the media and you can’t let that stop you from having a good time.
