Correct me if Iā€™m wrong, but election day in Belgium is always held on either a Saturday or Sunday when most people donā€™t have to go to work.

In the US, the general election (voting for president) is held every 4 years on a Tuesday when most people have to go to work. Itā€™s not a federal holiday.

Normally, itā€™s on a Sunday. There are several elections this year and we have to go and vote twice.

Iā€™m already getting swamped on Facebook with ads 4 months before the first election.

i always do early voting when i vote. theyre open for prob 2 weeks everyday before voting day and pretty much all day long. short lines for early voting.

Not voting for the least worst option, as it compounds the ineffectiveness and shortermism

I was going to vote 3rd Party because of the same reason.

If i voted, it would still send a message.
But with a two party system it matters more when voting 3rd party.

I hope to God I didnā€™t miss the presidential election.

I think here in Kansas itā€™s not until the 19th of this month, but I could be wrong.

I tried to get a mail in ballot but my state makes it such a huge pain in the ass.

Most states had to vote for their president primary choice on Super Tuesday.

Right now the current President is speaking the State of the Union.
