I saw my oncologist today. My condition in my bladder is extremely rare and is only seen in 3rd world countries but I have it and am in the US.

Anyway, after catheterizing myself regularly the last year and a half, my condition has begun to improve! Yay!

Anyway, if I continue to get better while catheterizing myself 6 times a day, my oncologist is going to write up a case study about me and publish it in a medical journal. I think that’s pretty cool actually.

Man, I hope you’re turning a corner with the bladder stuff. The catheters don’t sound like fun.

Yeah. I think I’m getting some scar tissue from cathing. But my understanding is that my brain no longer sends signals for my bladder to contract, which means I’ll have to cath for life @shutterbug
