I make a lousy schizophrenic; I can't even read my *own* mind let alone anyone else

I make the lousiest choices and I don’t know what I was thinking. Maybe I’ll just have to turn in my membership card and my name badge and quit being schizophrenic.

I wish it was that simple. I’d like to turn in my badge and quit being schizophrenic too.

Word. I wish I could turn mine in too for some normalcy.

I’m with @Bowens
I’m sorry you’re feeling how you’re feeling though.
I’d keep going, you know? Keep your name, stay a member, and if these are your circumstances, make the most of them. Most of us here make questionable decisions at some point or another. Take your time to understand yourself. But don’t throw in the towel.

Admiral John Paul Jones of the British navy in the 17th century who when under attack by a superior Spanish force and out-manned and outgunned. While the Spanish leaders bombarded his vessel and asked him to surrender he famously said, “I have just begun to fight”.

Me too.

Mate. I make some dumb decisions but I do enough of them they even out. It’s not a bad life and I’m happy with my lot. Sure it could be different but I do have some things that take a lot of energy. Hang in there. Your still a good dude and good things happen when your positive going into life.

I think most schizophrenics are mystified by some of their own behavior. It goes with the territory.

I made the mistake of copying the celebreties and telling everyone about my illnesses. I thought I would get accolades for doing so, just like the celebreties do. Bad decision. Being sick isn’t a badge of honour.

I seem to be swinging from one “crisis” to another latley. Stupid crap that probably wouldnt bother normal people. Spent 2 hours stressing just cos i thought someone looked at me funny. WTH?

I want to be boring!

The title of this thread gave me a good chuckle, @77nick77

Lousy choices help us learn, and hopefully we don’t repeat the same mistakes in the future.
