Thanks @Montezuma
According to my charity organization I don’t think I qualify for a group home but I do qualify for supportive housing which is a little different.
Or I may get a couple of roommates living here in my house.

I know this feeling @Wave I used to feel sad at the thought how my dad was gonna cope if my gran died. It didn’t happen that way , and it’s been tough without him but all I can say is it does get easier.
I’m sorry for your loss @anon80629714
Thank you.
As silly as this sounds sometimes I still feel like he’s still with us getting us through it all. I’m sorry you are struggling with the thoughts
Well right now my father is still with us.
He’s just getting weaker and more fragile but he’s hanging in there.
I’m just preparing myself mentally or at least trying to.
It’s going to be rough for me but hopefully I’ll manage.
It’s so hard to see him like this.
I feel the same, I don’t know if I can live on my own I can’t manage money, my parents will likely die in about 10y, 15y for my mother. They will be in their 80s. My father is 72-73 now. I hope that my little brother will take care of me. My other brother doesn’t care and he actually make me worse, I wish he was neutral at least.
Hang in there @Aziz
We’ll manage.
I can understand why this worries you @Wave Hopefully your dad is around for a good number of years.
It sounds like you’re acknowledging your legitimate concerns and reaching out to your medical team and to your support charity organization for guidance and assistance. That’s exactly what you should be doing and shows that you are being responsible by planning ahead. I think that’s very commendable.
Thank you @Moonbeam
We are here if you need us wave
