I need a pick me up.
2mg of Abilify gave me hypersexuality but I liked the way how it made me more alert and focused.
Maybe I’ll be able to manage these side effects on my own?

Of course it would just be as an add on to my other meds.
I hope to god abilify doesn’t give me hypersexuality ..I just got over my porn addiction.. but better focus sounds great.

My pdoc says anything lower than 10mg is basically doing nothing. I personally don’t believe that but that’s his stance.

I believe using it as an aid for other conditions such as depression it can be helpful under 10mg, but I’ve also been told under 10mg is not a therapeutic dose for psychosis.
I’m not a pdoc though, just going off of past experience with Abilify.

I do the same thing, in fact my last appointment with my pdoc earlier this week is the first time we haven’t made adjustments to my meds for the first time in almost two years it seems like.

Just been feeling a bit flat lately.
Adding some Abilify could help with this.

I have rapid cycling bipolar @Bowens
This means that I cycle through symptoms all the time.
Fine tuning is a big part of how I treat my fast moving symptoms.

After thinking about it some more, I’ve decided against the idea of going on Abilify as an add on med.
Being hyper sexual was a real problem for me.
Ive finally broke my porn addiction.
Don’t want to jeopardize this

I am on 10 mg and I have libido, when I was on 7.5mg my libido dropped , I had a hard time ejaculating

You can also perhaps try polypharmacy with antipsychotic targeting different receptor such as cobenfy for muscarinic, caplyta for glutamate+ abilify or a d2 agonist 
check with your psychiatrist on this, this should have a plethora of mild side effects which you might be able to tolerate all and having least weight gain

When you said it’s a porn addiction, are you watching porn and jacking off > 3 times a day and it affects your day to day functions? Depending on the age 1-2 times a day can be considered normal

Two times a day is not normal
No now without Abilify it’s more like once a week.
With Abilify it was like twice a day.
God i hope i dont get this effect… I kinda like not watching porn alot.

Yea… I. Switching to abilify this week. The zyprexa caused blood sugar to go up and I think its causing me to gain weight.
Im gonna try abilify and see if it helps.
