I’m switching to abilify how long does it take for the opening of new dopamine receptors to come in and give me a euphoria

i dont think that is what happens with abilify

it reduces the intensity of selective dopamine signalling apparently

apparently it does but only partially, not fully. so that is why the dopamine signalling intensity is reduced, but not blocked fully…

That’s good does it do any permeant damage to receptors?

i hope not,… if any. hopefully it is not significant…if any permanent damage occurs.

I am on abilify and so far it seems to be ok,…

good choice in antipsychotic…just give it time to work, like 8 weeks

Ok I see I know risperidone causes permeant closure of dopamine receptors now I’m scared that my ap will too

abilify only partially closes it up amongst other good properties, apparently

not saying other antipsychotics are necessarily not as good

different bodies suit differnt meds i guess…??
