I’ve gained 15 pounds (6.8kg) of the 100 pounds (45 kg) I lost. I keep trying to go back to 1200 calories and I keep failing. I only have 3 shirts that sort of fit.
Hey @LilyoftheValley . Sorry to hear that you are struggling with weight. You are still doing better than a lot of us though. I’m a total yoyo with weight. I lose a little then gain most of it back. I’m confident with your track record that you will get ahold of it eventually .
That’s amazing you lost 100 pounds! I’m sure you’ll get to where you want to be.
Thanks @Bowens @HollyHobbie
Don’t beat yourself up over it. The struggle is real.
Relapse is part of recovery.
@LilyoftheValley well just don’t gain any more…dine on small plates instead of big ones…that way even if you go back for seconds it’s only one plate.
I already do that but thanks @jukebox
I gained while eating 1600 calories per day
thats great that you lost 100lbs
i wish i could
you lost it once i have faith you will loose it again
good luck
Thanks @yoda123
I know you can lose the 15 back, I believe in you! @LilyoftheValley
Can you cut out processed carbs and sugar? Or have you already?
I am trying to lose around 30 kgs. Will be difficult but i really want to get back to my regular old weight. I blew up in size when i starting binjing junk food and taking olanzapine as a prn, and also living a fairly sedentary lifestyle for a while. Packed on 30 kgs in around a year and a half. Never been as big as i am now in my life haha.
Good luck to you on your fitness journey.
Thanks @TheCanuk
I already have @anon4362788. I no longer have estrogen, plus I’m on meds. It’s really difficult for me to lose weight. The biggest problem is that I stopped jogging due to a possible hernia. I do the bike, but I don’t get as good a workout on it for some strange reason
Thanks @Ozzyskits.
I started a diet recently. I did the same diet before lost lots of weight. Low carb low fat diet, protein 1g/kg of body weight. Shirataki noodles are 5 cal/150g and they fill me quickly as they’re all fiber.
Good luck @Aziz !
I don’t want to be too obvious or anything, but are there any hilly areas you can concentrate on where you are? Back when I used to bike ride, hills really made you exert yourself. Plus you get the added bonus of going back downhill at the top . Weeeee! I honestly don’t know if this helps at all. Just a thought I had.
