I’m off to the

Gym. My husband no longer walks me to the women’s area and I’m doing ok with that! I did see a friend of the men who follow me etc but he didn’t do anything horrible to me. Then at the drug store I saw another friend of theirs and he just smirked at me but didn’t say anything. I’m still worried they’ll kidnap and torture me but I’m still trying to get out as much as I can handle it.

@LilyoftheValley, I’m so proud of you for getting out of the house and going to the gym! Good for you. It must be terrible having to deal with those awful hallucinations. I will pray for you.

hey @LilyoftheValley. I haven’t been on the forum long so don’t know your history or situation, so apologies if I’m off topic. Your anxieties sound like social anxiety to me. I myself suffered from debilitating social anxiety - it wasn’t until my mid 20’s I was able to stand up straight & look at the horizon, I was so scared of making eye contact with anyone & being judged. It wasn’t until my late 20’s I was able to go into a shop and buy milk, I was so scared of having to deal with the shop assistant to pay. It made life so difficult for me.

These days my anti-psychotics help with lowering my anxiety from terror to high anxiety. Plus I did loads of exposure to social situations & confronting my fears. These days I still avoid shop assistants whenever I can (using the self check outs) but I actually work in customer service & am pretty good with people irl. Maybe there’s something in my experience with social anxiety & overcoming it that could free up your world a little?

omg its been so long since I been to the gym… I feel like a person that is out of shape and a betrayal to exercise.

I do have social anxiety, but that’s not my only problem. Thanks for sharing your situation. It’s good to know you’re able to live a decent life and work.

You could always start up again. I’ve started and stopped in the past. Don’t beat yourself up over it. Maybe you just weren’t up to it
