I’m frustrated

My pharmacy gives me grief about certain meds I take like my insulin meds in particular. Such as It’s been two weeks since I got my blood sugar monitor prescription and it’s still on back order. It reads with my insulin pump so my pump won’t work correctly without it. Another time it took three weeks to get my thyroid med filled. Another time I waited for more of my insulin pumps for a month. I do keep back up insulin and other supplies but I’ve gone through that as well while waiting.

It’s partly an insurance issue because my reader was upgraded but I literally needed approval for it before even getting the prescription and that took another week. I just don’t understand why sick members have to jump through so many hoops through insurance and pharmacy. It’s just wrong. Am I overreacting here?

Thank you. These companies don’t act like they really care about the members. It’s all about fighting with the insurance company

Some people honestly won’t give a toss until you complain. They probably been doing it day in day out, and have taken a blase attitude about your script
