Edit. I missed the comment where you said they didn’t admit you. Bummer. As Abdallah said maybe pdoc can help you get in if you’re still feeling like you need a break from life stuff.

sorry you ae anxious and paranoid, hopefully not too bad, paranoia is one of the worst symptoms for me when i get unwell apart from delusions.

The ward accepts you.

You might ask about a med to treat your anxiety, like a benzodiazapine, or something. There is the risk of dependence, though. You have to balance the possibility of a dependence against the relief from a pill.
