I look medicated on 78mg invega sustenna. I see when people look at me their eyes move to survey the blank stare that I have. They sometimes dart their eyes away And my guess is because they don’t want to look rude for staring.
I don’t know what to do, my facial muscles barely move, my eyes look permanently in a stare as if I only have one look on my face. I find it hard to show emotion and I now never go out in public bc of this look on my face. I’d post a pic but I look like a douche right now so I won’t. Do other meds Affect your eyes less? I want to be able to go in public and make eye contact without making people uncomfortable. I just wear sunglasses right now when I go in public but I’m not in U2 and I’m not fuxking blind so idk what to do. Only my family is used to it
Invega sustenna 78 mg. I find it hard to make comfortable eye contact too. It just makes me blank and hard to focus, almost like I’m experiencing things all suddenly, I’m never comfortable enough to think normally.
It’s not a delusion at all. It’s equivalent to the look that people had in their eyes when I first got sick and was in the hospital. All the patients had their left eye unfocused and only the other would move. My eyes are just dead on a stare. And my friend said I look medicated all the time and that I don’t have a range of emotions. Like it’s hard to follow how I react to things bc I just have blank eyes and a blank expression. I wonder if ability will help instead I just don’t want to gain more weight…
I remember In college some people used to be on ability oral and I didn’t notice anything except their tiny pupils. I want to switch… u should too if u don’t like the whole medicated look- I just remember being in the hospital and how I didn’t know how to read the patients’ faces because their eyes. Now I’m one of those people.
Risperdone is just like invega I think. Do u get akathisia? It’s so bad for me and if I’m putting up with my blank stare I might as well be comfortable. My current doc won’t prescribe me more than 15 benzos so I need to switch
Thank god it went away, did u switch to an oral pill or something? I was thinking of switching to abilify but I might do the shot. It really depends tho because I’m sick of my eyes making my face look serious and dead inside. It’s the shot isn’t it…
I switched to oral amisulpride and it went away. Now im on latuda which is even better. I don’t think it’s the shot necessary but the actual medication and how it affects you…
