Hey! Are there people who HATES being tidy, like cleaning rooms, doing dishes etc etc?
I just see no point by being tidy at all. Literally, it feels like((while I am cleaning) that its not necessary, like if i could be doing something way more important… how to make myself more interested in tidying the environment?
Maybe I am just lazy, IDK.
My best advice is keep the place tidy as you go along. Eg
If if there’s a small mess, tidy it up after not the next day (which becomes the next day then the next day)
It feels nice when a room is relatively tidy. So that’s the incentive.
that’s a very good advice I will try to do so, yet not sure if it’s gonna work out… for whole life I cannot get used to tidying
I feel the same. Why clean and straighten up, its just going to get dirty and messy again. But my mother, oh how she is repulsed by a dirty, messy house.
If you like it messy, and you live alone, and you have a quick way out in case of fire, and you aren’t causing a fire hazard, and you aren’t attracting bugs or growing mold, fine, be messy.
But my experience with messy people is that they are guilty of breaking fire and sanitation codes, and have bugs and mold, and are bothering the people they live with.
I don’t like living messy but I have low motivation. My parents help me with cleaning. Unless I’m manic or hypomanic.
@anon4362788 thinks I’m some sort of neat freak.
That’s because you are.
You’d get lost and die in my place.
My wife is the neat freak. I have Stockholm Syndrome.
Lol! I’m sorry.
