I kinda caved in

I broke a promise to myself to stop drinking coffee. It motivates me though I’m down to 311.6 pounds I just figure moderation may be good?

Congratulations on your weight loss.

Why did you stop coffee in the first place?

Do you add a lot of sugar and cream?

Moderation sounds right to me. As an addict if I even take one hit of crack or one beer it will trigger my addiction. But if you can handle a couple cups a day than I don’t see anything wrong with it as long as you can always stop after just two. If having two cups a day triggers you into three or four cups and it starts to escalate and you can’t control how much you drink, then yeah, total abstinence may be best.

I stopped because I was drinking a lot if it for awhile but today I only drank two cups. I stopped after 1pm.

@PinCushion I originally started at 389 then went down to 368 but with the exercise diet and the new meds I’m down to 311.6 so I hope it continues .

@77nick77 thanks i will try to keep it to a minimum

I only drank one cup of coffee today, I just took my latuda so I might fall asleep I’m worried that if I drink coffee to stay awake now I’ll be up all night. That is a weakness of mine to want to drink coffee after I take a dose of meds.

I’ll have to remember that, I dislike regular sugar so I use very little or I use the sweetner.
