That sucks @Vinegar . It’s really stupid things that I worry about.
The dumbest thing I get anxious about is we have very little money in our drawers. If someone wants to pay with $100 for a small order I don’t have change. So I have to call the manager, get her to break it, then finish the transaction. However, there’s always a long line of people frustrated about the wait time.
It’s lots of little things that upset me which is really stupid.
Then there’s the big things like creepy men saying inappropriate things to me that make me feel unsafe going to my car at night, and fights breaking out in the store.
@LilyoftheValley. Creepy men!!! No wonder you’re anxious. I get it, though, that you need the job so I just want to say you’re so strong for keeping going and not quitting.
Thanks @Vinegar . One guy wanted to know which vehicle in the parking lot was mine. When I didn’t answer he replied well there’s only 2 in the parking lot so I know it’s one of those 2. ummm… why does he need to know this?!?!
Have your cell phone on and be talking to your friend, spouse, family member while walking and pay attention to anyone near your car. If you are already on the phone you can tell a loved one something is not right - or just have someone pick you up if you can.
