I think it was because I let this kind of pitiful girl sit fairly close to me that people are jumping to conclusions. My response to her at the time was that she had the same right to be there as I did. People are generally more territorial where I live. I should probably adapt, because people jump to stupid conclusions.

What are those stupid conclusions? That you were hitting on a girl? So what? It’s nobody else’s business anyway.
This might seem kind of strange, but they might have been thinking that I was trying to get that girl pregnant. People sometimes have babies in here. I think a few of them have several babies. But they are really trying to heap blame on me for something I did not do, and they are singling me out for blame among the very many guys who got girls pregnant and were very cavalier about it.

I’ve been through that drill before. “Him trying to get babies from girls” was their justification for telling me to commit suicide. They really brought out some bad blood when they did that.
