I just made a new discovery!

Dark chocolate, made of 72% or 85% cacao or above, and of only 1 oz. or one square in quantity, completely curbs sweet cravings! It does in me anyway. Milk chocolate, on the other hand, stimulates sweet cravings. You just want more, more and more. Same with all candy, cake, cookies, pie, soda pop, and all food with added sugar. You just can never get enough.

I used to eat cookies literally all day and all evening long. Now, I just have a small square of 72% dark chocolate, and I’m good for the whole day.

My favorite brand is Ghirardelli’s because they are high quality.

I was thinking about purchasing some high quality dark chocolate myself.
It’s so healthy too!

The trick, @Wave , is you can only have a little piece of it, like one square, and call it good for the whole day. Occasionally I will feel the need for a second square later in the day or evening but not always. And I always have it with black, unsweetened coffee. Seems to go real good with that.

Yes, I’ve always enjoyed dark chocolate with some coffee.

I love dark chocolate because for the longest time, it was the only way I could eat it due to my allergies to dairy.

So yes, dark chocolate tastes very good to me. I can go to 95% and still enjoy it.
