I just ate a ton of sugar

I had cut way down on how much sugar I ate. I also exercised. I sat in my apartment tonight, and I got a terrible craving for alcohol. I was wondering if I could hitch hike the seven miles to the liquor store tomorrow. I realized that if I did that I might stop exercising because I’d be too hung over, and once you start something you’re likely to keep doing it. I decided that instead of getting drunk I would get a bowl of cereal and put a ton of sugar on it. I did that and it seems to have helped with the craving for alcohol. It’s just a one time incident. Tomorrow I’ll get back on my low sugar regimen, and I will exercise.

wow good job crimby !! I am impressed. I don’t drink since about two weeks ago and I’m thinking all this stress caused by trying to afford my vices is just not worth it…you show willpower…good for you !

I would take it easy on the sugar - this is a good way to get Diabetes.
I have Diabetes, sugar is a big No for me!

Salt is my Achilles heel. Luckily I’m not a big fan of sweet stuff.

I go for the carrot cake + milk when I want sugar.
