Any time any thing is too hard for me to bare I rail at God in hard language. I hope he or she doesn’t hold it against me.

Once in a blue moon I ask myself why me?
Why did I get this Awful illness.
My brother blames bad luck.
Like he tells me, I got dealt a bad hand.

sorry just what I believe…I don’t blame the devil for what I do when I fall down, I only know the devil rules this world…Jesus and His Kingdom are not of this earth.

I can’t believe in a a god that’s all powerful and all good but allows unjust suffering where he/she/it doesn’t have to.

Fellas, fellas! Come together. Let’s all just agree that God and the devil are friends gambling on our suffering for some twisted reason. Its called the book of job. That book is wild I tell you!
A lot of God talk on the forum today. That’s nice I guess.
Here’s my bottom line. Anger is completely normal reaction to mental illness. So is blaming. So is bargaining. If god is who you gotta bring into it, do it man. Just also have some hope that you can recover on the other side of that coin.
And the devil is not real. We have enough problems.

I honestly don’t think God has anything to do with schizophrenia.
I’m not saying there isn’t a spiritual aspect to being mentally ill though.
I don’t know.
Hearing voices is still a mystery to me.
Everyone from the anti-psych movement to the super religious seem to have their own theories.
The next time you see some little kid with cancer or someone with advanced ALS say, “there but for the Grace of God, go I.” Attitude of gratitude. It’s important.
So who do the ALS people get to point and say that toward?
In Stephen Hawking’s case, probably joggers. They’re wasting their time on something of limited interest to him.
