I had a great day yesterday and got little 12 things done! I’m hoping to get another 8 things done today. Some easy, some a little more time consuming and involved. If I don’t get it all done I won’t be upset it’s just a little goal to challenge myself.
the list is;
scrub stains off patio and sweep once dry
open and put away deliveries
breakdown boxes and take to dumpster
build cat tree
take out garbage
put away dishes, wash any new ones dirtied
dust
vacuum
hang curtains (3 rooms)
put photos in frames
hang mom’s paintings
pot plants
Thank you, I just did a little, took a break, did a little more and took another break and on it went. Doing 2 or 3 things and then stopping to eat or drink but always getting back to it. I did good and I was happy with me.
Thank you. They were easy things like do the dishes, take out the trash, sweep the front porch, clean the litterbox etc. But it was all stuff that needed done.
Oh, I won’t get all that done today. That’s just the list of everything. I’m shooting for the 8 easy things but I may not get even that. It just depends on my energy level today and motivation.
My sister mentioned I pay my son in law to do it. He does odd jobs to support his kids. Maybe I’ll give him a call since I think that’s the only way it’s getting done lol
I tried to give him money this weekend but he turned it down said he felt bad about always taking money. This would be a good way to get him some, I’ll just over pay him.
I’m finding that if I make a list and break everything down in small chores I can get a lot more done than I dreamed of. The list are sort of a confidence booster in a way because we all do little things each day that we take for granted like taking out the garbage and doing the dishes. When you put it on a list you’re giving yourself credit for it. It feels good.
