8 of those things are for sure getting done because they are easy and important to keep up on like doing the dishes, the litter box, and taking out the trash. I think I’m also going to tackle the bathroom today. I’ve broken it up in bits so I can do a few minutes at a time and not feel overwhelmed by doing it all at once.
Also I’ve been getting mail for the gal that used to live here. She moved to a three bedroom. I need to take the accumulated mail to her which is highly stressful for me because I don’t know them. But it needs done so I put it on my list.
I’m going to disassemble this cat tree that I bought. It’s an overpriced hunk of junk. My cat doesn’t like it. I’m sending it back and ordering something from Petco. My sister told me what to get that she assures me the cat will love. My sister is a very experienced cat owner even though she currently doesn’t have one because her cat passed.
Anyway, all these things should give me plenty to do today that I won’t be bored ever and can keep making headway on getting stuff done around here.
I have a terrible memory, writing these lists helps trigger some for me. But it’s funny when I go to do one thing, I see like 5 other things that need done too and I go off and do those and have a hard time staying on task. Sometimes I swear I have attention deficit disorder.
lol, silly llama! I’m telling you lists are the way for me man. I don’t know if the newness will wear off but two days in a row I got stuff done. And I feel good about today.
I’m the same way that’s why I need a list. I’ll go start cleaning the bathroom, bring trash from the bathroom to the trash can in the kitchen and then be like oh I need to put these dishes up. Then start doing stuff in the kitchen and forget I was even in the bathroom!
lol. That sounds about right. I notice I’ll do anything to avoid certain chores like doing the dishes. I was married for 10 years and he did the dishes primarily. I was so spoiled when it came to that.
have you given any thought to adding some self-care things to the list like breathing exercises, or taking supplements. just wondering thought maybe you could benefit from thinking about yourself a little. anyways hope youre getting stuff done!
