My blood pressure has a problem with dropping suddenly when I stand up which has caused me to fall way too often. I was put on midodrine which helped slightly but caused other problems. Now the dr is trying me on pseudoephedrine 4 times a day. It might also help with my constant headaches and even possibly my toothaches. I know it has kind of a bad rep. Anyone have any stories or ideas to share?
When I was on clozapine my blood pressure drop and I would end up being in hospital. They switched me off clozapine and gave two meds for low blood pressure for a few months.
I take clozapine and I really don’t want to go off of it. It has helped me so much more than anything else
When I was on thorazine I’d get up fast, need to hold on to something and couldn’t see anything cause I was so dizzy. Later on I drank more sports drinks with electrolytes and lots of water.
I agree it was best AP I have tried. I still heard voices but they were mild and I could ignore them. But my doctors said blacking out and falling and ending up in the ER for fracture bones and getting stitches was not good for me. Now I feel like I’m starting over on AP med train.
