Would the stuff for kids teething that numbs the gums work for your pain?
It’s pretty hard to function when your mouth hurts.
When it’s all over, you will have nice straight teeth and a brautiful smile.
I like those glasses you have on, they look just like the one’s I have on right now.

I had braces for about 5 years. Get a water pick. It’s a little machine that has a hand held water squirter (like the dentist uses to clean off your teeth after they brush them) It gets the food out of the tight spaces between your teeth and the metal.
They have wax you can put on a rough spot until you go see the orthodontist to get it smoothed out. It never worked to well for me but it’s worth a shot.
And when they say no biting into hard food they mean it. Trust me.

They have tubes of 20% benzocaine that they sell over the counter. Some of it comes in jells, some of it comes in liquids, and they have some for dentures that comes in a paste. That might be the best for you. They sell these benzocaine products in Wal Mart for around six dollars a tube. I don’t know if you have any “Dollar Tree” stores, or anything like them where you live. They’re places where everything in the store costs one dollar or less. At the Dollar Tree near where I live they have the benzocaine jell on sale for a dollar. It’s the exact same stuff as what they sell in Wal Mart. I think they’ve even gotten some of the benzocaine paste. If they have any stores like this near where you live you might check them out.

oh I found out yesterday when I tried to eat an apple, there was blood everywhere

Check to see if they’re carrying that 20% benzocaine solution. It might help.
Good thinking! I wish I knew about that stuff when I had them. I use it if I get a sore in my mouth now and it really does help.
and @anon59133895 you should (not definitley can) have stuff like apples and corn if you cut up the apples and take the corn off the cob. You probably can eat it off the cob but it gets EVERYWHERE you won’t get it out of your teeth for what feels like a month. Bite sized is your friend.
