I have an interview this afternoon

At an Amazon distribution center. At 2pm. It was totally weird. Just filled out this stuff, watched a video and uploaded documents early this morning and I already have a meeting for a drug test and stuff.

I guess their hiring practices are as efficient as their shipping.

Its seasonal work, at least to start. 19 hours a week. And will probably bring me in about 300 dollars a week after taxes. If I get the job, that is. I could really use this extra income between the house purchase and the wedding. So wish me luck.

I find work is not just the money but helps keep the mind busy

When I wasn’t working everything seemed way worse as I was drifting day to day

Hope it goes well for you

I worked as an amazon delivery driver, maybe in 2019-ish. Anyways, I lasted like 2 months…just couldn’t keep up. The warehouse was a madhouse. Pay was alright though, and my boss was cool
