I debated with myself whether to post this. I don’t know anything about fashion but that looks like a businesswoman dress. Something you would wear to a business meeting. Nothing personal against you @spiderpig.

I’ve seen the photos you both posted. If I were still a young man and about to go on a date with a lady as classy as the both of you are, I’d be both amazed that she would go out with me at all, and a little intimidated at the idea of being one to one in a potentially romantic setting. I have a feeling your dates are possibly even more nervous than either of you are!

My advice to you is, if you do something weird or that makes you ashmed just Laughed! xD it works for me

well you will both be nervous, but you will look fantastic x and well done for getting a date.
he will compliment you and you will be flattered and let him know something nice about him, maybe his eyes or his choice of aftershave or his nice shirt.
also talk about the place where you have met maybe joke about a few things to do with it.
let him know what drink you like so he can order you one at the bar. whether its hot choc or coffee or even a glass of lemonade, also let him know what food you like
then get onto a topic you both like - for instance if you like snooker, he might like it too maybe one of you like watching it, the other likes playing it.
we all dry up and not know wat to say
but the other person will then take the conversation somewhere else like holidays or if they have been travelling abroad or something
