I watch daytime TV. I hate adverts for charities as they always seem to have disturbing imagery or themes. They seem to try to scare you or guilt you into donating.

Yeah and I saw on one of them that if you give them money THE GOVERMENT ŵill MATCH IT
what the hell the government can clearly afford to sort all this out but they think oh we will get poor people to pay if they have a good heart. Meh

I’m ok with charity adverts on the tv. What gets me is the phone calls where they try to emotionally pressurise you into donating a monthly sum. This even after telling them honestly that you’re on a low income and donating to several charities already.
I’m all for donating to charity but out of my own free choice, and not because someone is trying to emotionally pressurise me to do so.

Oh I hate it when they do that. "But oh, you can donate a very low sum monthly, and don’t you feel you should give those poor children a chance?"
Well, don’t they feel like they should give me, a starving student, a chance too?
