I hallucinated my death

Who has called you lazy?

I hear you Liv. But I know. And so do the others on this forum. Dont worry about what other people say about you. Let them go through what you experience every day and then ask them if you are lazy. Thats why I take my meds but no longer think that my psychiatrist knows anything about what he calls my ‘delusions’. Just because HE doesnt experience them doest mean they are not real. They are real and they take a lot of mental energy to deal with.
So start with meditating on your awareness of “I am”. Dont force yourself to think any thoughts. Just be aware of your reality. Do it the next time you are free. Even now if you can. Even if your voices start talking during it. When you go through horrible suffering, it also makes even the tiniest good time feel great. Believe in yourself and you will get there. I had low self esteem for a long time. I was a 30 year whose 60 year old parents were still taking care of him. But when I offered to help around the house with chores and stuff, they wouldnt let me help because they were afraid the stress would make me go bad. That was silly but their fears were making them do that. I am a lot less paranoid about my sz than they are. In fact, my doc spends about 5 mins with me and about 20 mins with my family during appointments.

Start with belief in yourself. From there, you can get through anything.

Its mostly been my mum

Joining this forum has been the best thing I have ever done. Having people that really understand what your going through has helped me more than talking to professional or taking meds. Thank you for all the advice you have given me with trying to cope with this. I know I will get there one day I just need to take baby steps and I will gain back control.

Part of living in reality is thinking through things. Has anyone other than your mom called you lazy? Has your mom used the words, “you are lazy”?

Literally every single one of my “friends” and yes she uses they exact words when I’m having a bad day and cant really help around the house

I’m sorry to hear that. How do you spend your days? I know it’s hard to do anything.

Hello thomson, I used to have a friend that had the same name. Do you live in New York by any chance.

How long has it been this way? What if you didn’t have your phone?

Thomson is my last name and I no I dont live in New York i wish I did

Well I had to stop going to school at the start of February so since then it’s been the same every day and if I didn’t have my phone I would probably just sit at a window and watch the world go by.

Do you do schoolwork at home?

Not at the moment. My psychiatrist said I needed a break from all the stress of school so I’m going to start homeschooling in August.

If you can still use the Internet, there are still plenty of options. And even though I try to do my digital art stuff every day, some days I dont feel like doing anything. Not to watch movies, read books, play Skyrim or even do my arts. Those are some of the worst days. Basically I end up lying down and waiting until the feeling goes away. Thats why I said learning patience can be useful. Not always easy but like you said, small steps. Let it flow.
