I had a phone call appointment with my psychiatrist on Thursday

It lasted 2 minutes and 11 seconds.

Is that a new record for the shortest psychiatric appointment ever?

My new psychiatrist likes to keep things short too.
Around the same amount of time

That’s too bad, even if you seem like a stable person he should use some time to assure himself that’s the case and that can’t be done in two minutes.

When I’m in a stable period, I hardly talk with a pdoc, but like now when I’m unstable I meet him half an hour once monthly.

don’t you wish they would at least explain why and what they are doing?

Remember the limitations of psychiatry…

They cannot cure anyone, so if you are stable then what more can he/she do?

I see my new pdoc via tele health on Thursday. I like my current pdoc a lot and got to see her in person but she doesn’t feel comfortable working with clozapine. So she was honest about her own limitations…I respect that but I’ll miss her, she was really nice.
