I just learned today that some thoughts I had were actually hallucinations. More than 6 months into taking antipsychotics, I’d still get random thoughts that had accents to them that I couldn’t physically hear with my ears. Apparently these are auditory hallucinations. They happened especially when I was very tired and it was late at night. (relative to the time that I usually go to bed) I also still laugh at inapropriate times. I decided not to go to a funeral a couple of months ago because I knew iif I went I would try not to laugh and then I would start laughing.

The darn things seem awesome to the attention , but just ignore them.

I have the same problem with smiling during the most inappropriate times. I tend to avoid bad news because it often seems like I’m happy about it. Never knew it was related to my schizophrenia.
