I got lentils in the crockpot

I chopped onions a little garlic salt pepper water and of course lentils in my crockpot cooking away on the low setting! I can’t wait till I get to eat them… I tasted the broth a little and it’s pretty good! I’m thinking I might either eat them for dinner or breakfast tomorrow

I think it’s boil for an hour, then simmer. not sure. I gotta have ham in it.

@Wave. How do you normally cook yours?

@Aziz sounds yummy!

@Daze. I did cook mine on the stove for a bit in water before throwing them in the crockpot

I’ll add dehydrated onions, salt, black pepper, turmeric, olive oil, and garlic powder and cumin.

I’ll of course add enough water and let it boil for 25 minutes then simmer for another 25 minutes till it’s ready. @Twialine

My mum loved lentils. Used to make a lentil soup(can’t recall if anything like ham or chicken was added). I’m the opposite . I don’t like them at all.

@firemonkey. This was my first time eating them

@firemonkey. @anon2818416. @Wave @Aziz
They tasted pretty good if I may say so myself
