So cool. I wish I could wear them. I am allergic to the material they’re made with.
I can wear the gas permeable ones but I once got one deeply gouged into my eye. It was due to being poorly fitted. It was very painful. So I went back to glasses. I still have a scar on my eyeball from it and it happened back in 2002!

congrats! I use glasses and contacts both. lately I’ve been lazy to put on contacts but I use them regularly.
@LilyoftheValley I’m sorry you had bad experiences with contacts. I tried to use them for the first time around ~2003-2004. did not work for me back then, they made my eyes tired. but contact lenses have evolved during these 20 years, they are very lightweight and easy to use these days. very soft when moist.

Most modern soft contact lenses are made of hydrogel or silicone hydrogel material. I use single use contacts and they are very easy to use and comfortable. A eye specialist might know more about the materials, but if you are allergig that is another thing.
