I got approved for my new apartment! I move in on 17th of July 2018. I am so excited. I’m going to hire professional movers, (like I always do), to help me move. And a friend of mine has agreed to help me move little stuff (she has a bad back). She owes it to me. I helped her move twice.
I saw the apartment I am to move into. It is occupied at the moment. It is very nice. It’s on the first floor. It doesn’t have a balcony, so, my cat can’t escape off the balcony. I worry about that. He’s done it before. I would have loved to have taken the one with the balcony but, I just don’t trust my cat. He would get out into the street and die just like that. Anyway, I am excited.

My current living arrangements are just perfect in all ways except the price. It is absolutely extraordinarily expensive to live where I am now and I don’t want to keep paying their exorbitant prices to live here. My next apartment is very nice and FAR less expensive.

I can understand that. When I lived in Az, all the small studio apartments kept getting upgraded and made more expensive. Every place I moved, they started upgading months after I arrived.
I’m really glad you found something you can afford more? What are you going to do with the extra money?

Being on the 1st floor (is that the same as ground floor?) has advantages (don’t have to walk up stairs/take elevator), but check for adequate drainage (just ask residents about flooding).
