This apartment manager says they don’t have any apartments on the third or second floor with balconies for me available right now. She said all they have are three apartments all on the first floor without balconies or patio windows. That is really a bummer. But, to be realistic, I never go out on my balcony now. Hardly never. It is 750 sq. ft., one bed, one bath. It is big enough for a dining room table and a large living room and bedroom. And a pantry and a big walk in closet. I am going to ask to go see it on Wed.
Wishing you health and happiness in your new home.
I arranged for a friend of mine to drive me to the apartment to take a look at it on Wed. afternoon. I have an appointment.
Since you’ve got a cat, make sure you ask whether they allow pets and whether they charge an extra pet deposit.
@Moonbeam, I did ask about my cat. They charge an extra $20 per month for my one cat.
That’s money well spent.
I think so.1515151515
These people at this apartment are tough cookies. They check your rental history, criminal background checks, credit history, and they want proof of all your income sources over the past year. And they require you to have rental insurance too. Man! But, to be fair, it was MUCH more expensive to get into that senior living facility.
Good luck @SkinnyMe.
It sounds like a good deal!
The things I like about this apartment in particular is that it is right across the street from a grocery store that has a deli, and it is also right across the street from a café also. In addition, it is 6 blocks away from my Church. Besides, a good friend of mine, who has the biggest heart in the world, lives at this apartment complex and she has already stated to me that she would be willing to drive me to Church and to volunteer meetings. So, that would be a big help.
