Praying mantis in my garden this morning. I just checked and he’s still hanging out.
It’s hard to tell but he’s only maybe an inch long at most. Like could fit on my fingertip.

When I was a kid we ordered this “egg” that was supposed to release praying mantises in our yard. NEver found a single one. They are pretty hard to find. At least it seems that way to me. Only seen a few in real life in my lifetime.

I’ve seen only a few as well but I purposely look for bugs in my garden lol, I suddenly have a lot of grass hoppers, and my favorite to find are jumping spiders .

ooh, I hate those little black ones that move and stare at you when you move. Those little black jumping spiderrs? Is that the same ones you are talking about?

They’re pretty small and fuzzy and have really buggy eyes. They do jump a lot . But a lot of them like humans, lol I can usually get them to crawl on my hands on their own. I love finding a really big one

Yeah, I think we are talking about the same ones. THey creep me out a bit. I just remember when I would see them . I would move and they would move and seem to be watching me.

When i was in thailand i was swimming in this river and saw a big one on the water it looked like it was water skiing
