What makes someone qualify for high security psych ward in your country?

I mean. In a mental ward?
Usually to get high security you need to commit a violent crime OR be non compliant. Im surprised you didnt warrant it.

I was in a general hospital waiting to be assessed or transferred for psych care in a psych ward.,

I found out that I can get a Federal grant for school for being disabled

Once you are in any way a danger to anyone in an ER setting from my experience is they restrain and medicate you til you calm down on a stretcher.

I’ve seen people strapped to boards they’re these like big heavy velcro boards that where your arms and legs get strapped down and then you can’t really move your body away from the bed that you’re prone on

Oh it looks efficient i have never seen those. Geez. But also Looks somewhat inhumane. The board just lies on the floor? Hope they are at least on something safe.
