So a couple of months back I told some of u about crippling pain in my hands. On friday I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands. Its easily fixable with an operation. I see the specialist in about a month. Can’t wait to get it sorted. Hopefully then, and once I’m off the haldol, I can get back to being productive in fits and spurts. Roll on October!
good for you jaynebeal. it’s always nice to hear about improvement? I need to have my hands and wrists checked out but I don’t want to do the procedure. my hands fall asleep at night real bad.
could that b the meds michael? do u take them at night? xxx
I probably have carpel tunnel from what I’ve heard from others that had the procedure done. I used to jarr my arms a lot digging ditches on a between college job and ever since my forearms and hands go to sleep so much they wake me up. ?
I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel in my right hand about 6 years ago. I was scheduled for the surgery but chickened out. The doctor said it could heal on its own and it did.
mine actually went away for about 6 weeks but now it’s back. unfortunately i can’t wait for it to disappear completely. i have kids to raise, pets to walk and a house to run. i need something doing and soon. xxx
maybe u should get checked out michael? xxx
sometimes I wake up with one arm completely numb and try to move it and it takes a minute for it to move at all. It’s like a big beef rod that just plops around. Happened less than a week ago actually. I find it amusing but maybe I should mention it to the psychiatrist, I have an appointment with him soon
