I fell for a scam and they took couple of thousand out of my bank

I always wonder why they do it ?
If they know to make e-money and have an idea how it all works they dont need to scam,
people just whats to hurt or easy cash flow they do it anyways,
i wont challenge them as this is a public form.
But who have knowledge about it they can make hell lots of money. I wonder why do they scam

There are all sorts of predators out there.
Some do it for the money, others simply feel good about themselves when they prey on the weak.
Maybe you could share with us how you got tricked, in case we risk being targetted too. Unless it would mean disclosing intimate / private details, in which case I won’t insist.

Got emails about tv licence that they would cut me off.

Yeah, most scammers use email, sometimes phone messages or even calls.
If in doubt about an email or sms containing suspicious links, safest option is to delete it altogether without trying to open the link.
Your bank or service providers will never ask for your credit card details via internet, unless it’s a secure payment website. Never ever should you disclose credit card number and cvv code. If your card gets physically stolen, contact your bank asap.
