I feel terrible

My partner got hurt sprained her ankle pretty bad. I tried to help her but my father in law told me not too. Then said she needs to man up and walk on it…

I’ve been sleeping out in the screened pavilion with the girls. My in laws won’t let me sleep on a chair cushion because of my weight.

It sounds like your in laws are real jerks. I’m sorry you have to put up with them.

She just sprained it yesterday though. If it was his wife or anyone else he would tell them to take it easy. When his niece got a shot in her arm and it was tender he didn’t make help put the sheds up

Excuse me for the question but you are a girl, right? And you have a girlfriend?

Yes I’m female and my partner is a woman as well

Hi @cbbrown. Sorry to hear that your in-laws are up to no good again.
Hope your partner feels better soon. And you too! :sunglasses:

Only good news I have to share is the Haldol appears to be working.

I was almost 300 lbs and I sat where I wanted. Never broke anything. My aunt was bigger than me and never broke anything. It’s stupid they’re not letting you sit on the furniture

That’s great that the haldol is working. :slightly_smiling_face:

I really wish your in laws were more compassionate and understanding. Unfortunately they are clearly not capable of that if they’re not even nice to their own daughter when she’s been injured.

Sorry to sound like a bit of a broken record, but you and your partner really need to move to your own place sooner rather than later, for both of your well-being, your mental health and your physical health.

Somone needs to say it, so I will: Why are you still living with these miserable, abusive pieces of ■■■■? Your partner isn’t much of a partner if your parents needs come before yours.

Time for a sit down with your other half about moving the hell out.

For me haldol doesn’t work much. Zyprexa made the difference eliminating the running commentary.

@cbbrown. Are you afraid you won’t make it if you leave? All you can do is try

If your partner is worried about leaving your in laws high and dry. Then maybe you two can send them a little money each month to help out.

We talk and talk about but until something happens to make them wanting us to leave it’s not going to happen. They tried to kick just me out and my partner told them she was leaving too they realized they would lose about 1400 dollars a month

I don’t understand that. You’re both adults and you are free to leave and live where you want. I don’t think you owe your in-laws anything since they treat you so bad.

Indeed. Would like to see both you and your partner happier and free from stress @cbbrown. You both deserve to be content.

Yeah I want that too. The 1400 is part my money as well. We loaned them 280 in the last 6 week’s not counting money they already get from us. They knew we were pretty much broke until the 22nd they said we could ask for something and they would get it for us until their payday. All we asked for was a case of water and a jar of jelly. They are making the biggest ■■■■■■■ deal about it
