I guess I’m doing ok on the lower dose of Risperdal, I mean I’m more alert and social but sometimes I’ll become real irritable and angry.
Not dangerous or violent just real irritable and irate
It’s not enough for me to go back on my previous 4mg dose but I’m keeping an eye on things.
But other than me losing my temper occasionally I feel great, and no it’s not mania.
Just a sense of well being and I’m able to feel joy a bit more.

That was my first signs that I was going downhill after going off meds. Little things were pissing me off more then usual.
Obviously you have just lowered your meds, didn’t quit them fully.
You’re a good guy Wave. Stay aware of how you feel going forward and keep us updated, if you feel comfortable doing so.

I remember being on a 4mg dose of Risperdal. I was feeling very depressed, to the point where they had to reduce my dose to 2mg, nothing changed.

I’m hoping the shorter fuse is temporary
If down the road things get worse I’ll consider going back to my old dose

Yeah, the coin has two sides unfortunately. I find that managing my stress helps minimize irritiability, which leads to anger. It’s nice to feel more on the lower doses for sure. It’s why I’m willing to put up with ongoing positive symptoms. I understand why high doses are necessary, but it’s awful to have to live on them.

No I checked again and it’s been almost a month since I reduced my medication @TheCanuk
I’m starting to think that it’s not withdrawal symptoms but more aligned with my bipolar mood swings resurfacing

Because cutting my pills in half is an inaccurate process, many times I’ll be taking 3.5mg @anon83704208
